Andrew and I were playing it cool and didn’t actually tell anyone, but last weekend our farm stand officially opened. I’m not 100% sure, but I suspect one of the founding rules of being an effective entrepreneur is to actually do PR. Good thing we both hate money. We hadn’t really planned on opening this early but the collards shirked convenience and did what they do best- they grew. So last Saturday we opened our gates and sold kale, collards, lettuce mixes, and fresh eggs. I think it was a success, even if most people were unaware of what was going on.
